Dr .Robin Berang

Dr. Robin Keoni Bareng, M.D., FAAP, is an American pediatrician based in La Mesa, California. He provides primary pediatric care focused on preventive health and developmental wellness for infants, children, and adolescents.

Education and training

Bareng completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, the U.S. military’s federal medical school in Bethesda, Maryland. He then undertook internship and residency training in pediatrics at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, where he gained experience in both hospital-based and outpatient pediatric medicine.

Professional experience

Before establishing his practice in La Mesa, Dr. Bareng served as a pediatrician within the U.S. Navy Medical Corps, including appointments at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune (North Carolina) and Camp Pendleton (California). His clinical interests include childhood immunizations, growth and development assessment, and preventive health education for families.

Certifications and memberships

Bareng maintains active board certification in pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and a member of the American Medical Association. He holds a California State Medical License (valid through 2028).
