Coronavirus Information

Doctors and Staff at Grossmont Pediatrics are committed to meeting your healthcare needs during the COVID-19 outbreak.

We continue to provide well checks, immunizations, routine care and urgent care and are in contact with Children’s Hospital regarding protocols for COVID-19’s testing and treatments.

Sick children, with recent runny noses, cough and congestion will NOT be seen at the office. Instead, they are being treated via TeleHealth, meaning the doctor will call them around their appointment time, diagnose, and treat the child over the telephone and/or video.

Well children will be seen at the office as usual. Due to social distancing guidelines, please limit adults accompanying the child to just one person. No extended family members please.

It is preferred that you stay in the car with your child, while the parent comes in via the well entrance, fill registration forms, return and wait in the car with their child until called.

This procedure protects your children and everyone else around them.

Information on COVID-19 is updated daily  by the County Public Health Department at https://www.sandiegocounty.gov/content/sdc/hhsa/programs/phs.html:
